Refunds and Cancellation

Last updated: October 12, 2026

The short version: you can cancel CardNest Pro at any time and keep it until the period you already paid for runs out. If you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, write to us and we will refund it in full. Nothing you have built is ever deleted because a subscription ended.

1. Cancelling

You can cancel Pro whenever you like, from your billing settings. No notice period, and you do not have to tell us why.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut you off straight away: Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription then drops to Free.

2. What happens to your binders

Nothing is deleted. This matters more than most cancellation terms, so it is worth stating plainly.

  • Free covers 3 active binders. If you have more than that when Pro ends, you choose which 3 stay active, either at the point you cancel or any time before the period ends.
  • The rest stay exactly as you left them. They become private and read-only rather than being removed, and subscribing again restores them, with their sharing links intact.
  • The same applies inside a binder. Free covers 30 pages, so in a longer binder the pages past 30 become read-only while the earlier ones stay editable.

3. Refunds

If you are within 14 days of your first payment, ask and we will refund it in full. You do not need a reason.

After that window, a subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for and we do not refund unused time on a period already started. You can still cancel at any point to stop the next renewal.

If something is genuinely broken on our side, or you were charged in a way that looks wrong to you, write to us anyway. We would rather sort it out than hide behind a window.

4. How to request a refund

Email team@cardnest.co from the address on your account. Tell us the email the subscription is under, and roughly when you were charged. That is all we need to find it.

We will get back to you within a day or two. Once the refund is issued, how fast it actually lands is down to your bank, which normally takes another five to ten working days and is out of our hands.

5. Renewals

Pro is $3 per month, or $30 per year and renews automatically at whichever interval you chose, until you cancel. Cancelling before the renewal date means you are not charged again.

If a renewal payment fails, we do not cut your account off immediately. Your payment provider will usually retry, and if it keeps failing the subscription drops to Free under the same terms as a normal cancellation, with nothing deleted.

6. Who takes the payment

Card payments are processed by Stripe, and the sale itself is made by Link, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card details are entered on their payment page and are never sent to or stored on CardNest servers. Your statement will show LINK.COM*, not CardNest. Link emails your receipt automatically, and refunds are issued back through Link to the original payment method. You can ask us for a refund, or ask Link directly.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces any right you have under consumer law where you live. Where local law gives you a longer cancellation or withdrawal period than the 14 days above, that law applies, not this page.

8. Contact

Questions about billing, cancellation or a refund can be sent to team@cardnest.co.
